One thing I forgot to mention is that no matter how I fiddled with it, the brake lever JUST, and I mean just, touched the underside of the downpipe. I cured this by slackening the adjustment at the rear wheel then stopping the brake level a mm before it touched the downpipe by removing one of the footrest bolts and putting a piece of metal plate under it as it is just the right height to stop the lever. The rear brake light switch needed a slight adjustment after this.
