Alter Schwede, was reisst Du Kilometer ab
"Alter Schwede" I like to use this phrase - sometimes to often...
Wellcome here, nice intro! Give us some more pics please! Lysekil - I was there in the 80th - perfect red crabs on the harbour, right? Fathers brother and familiy life there around Uddevalla and we visited them. I lent the Zündapp GTS 50 of my cousin during the stay and I remember, there was a Motorcycle-Shop called Lettes? on one of the main roads outside. Sorry - over 30 years ago...
Read about the trip of "our" Mongos in summer this year from Mongolia to Germany. 16000km in 6 weeks. Maybe something for you, but maybe to soft
And if you are around Aurich - come around for a break/beer/night.
Greetings
Robert
PS: Nürburgring - I can´t believe it!

Re: Hi from Sweden
Hello and best regards.
I had a white Innova too - my name in this forum was the colour-code...
It was stolen in Vienna the first night I arrived.
Now I have a 110i Wave and I am happy too. My km a year are rather laughable compared to yours.
Take care !

Re: Hi from Sweden
Thanks for all the kind words. I was a little worried about me bragging to much
Mongolia to Germany?! My wife won´t let me do that...
The motorcycle shop near Uddevalla and Lysekil was called "Lelles". I got my first moped there, a Yamaha Chappy. The shop has been closed for many years now.
Yes, I use the standard 14:35 gearing.
I usually drive in average 400 km a day, some days more and some days less. Those 400 km is only about 6 hours of driving. The longest in one day was 970 km, to home from Heidenau Ferienzentrum south west of Hamburg.
Is it OK to write in english? I don´t want to break any written or unwritten forum rules if such exists.

Re: Hi from Sweden
Well indeed this is a german forum, so most of the users write in german. But as you see, quite a few knew at least a little english.
Here are the most important rules:
1. Be nice
2. Love and/or ride a CUB
3. Share your expertise/experience/adventures
So you did very well so far
And I still want to know more about your nice little bag containers, c´mon, please...

Lelles - thanks. What a big motorcycle-shop. I´ve never seen such a big one again. Closed? Thats a shame!
Tell us some more about technical problems during your time with your Inno. No problems with the engine? No "schnattern"? Unbelievable!
Greetings

Re: Hi from Sweden
Hej hej to Sweden fom just the other bank ot Baltic Sea, 10km north from Kiel!
What a bike! What journeys! What a man!
And I still have problems (serious pain on the lower end of my spine) after sitting on my CUB for longer than an hour ...
Although I have a new seat.
As all of us I'd like to see more pictures with details of your Inno.

Re: Hi from Sweden
Servus & Willkommen,
lucky guy. Thank you for the picture too. Compared to Sweden all other countries are warm & cheap too.
.
Do you use a magnetic oil-drain-plug? Anyway it's great to have you here.
