I have been driving almost 13.000 km at my beloved Innova, 2,05/100 km, and it now needs a new rear tyre.
I have read a lot of the treads related to tire-choice, and find, that both Heidenau and Michelin doesn´t have a lot of mileage. Also they can be hard to fit.
What about the CST C-6016? Can they be fittted the Innova? And they should have a high mileage?
Hi,
if you also love the Dunlop ask your FHH for a new one. The Dunlop is listed as a spare part. CST in the right dimension is also gold for long distance as you can read here.

A Traditional tire with excellent handling characteristics and high mileage... Et traditionelt dæk med fremragende håndteringsegenskaber og høj kilometertal...
if the "bulk-index" in the UK is no concern to u. Think about the Conti-go.
Here in the forum there is good reputation about the Micheline Pilot Street. Also think about the original Dunlop TT-900, if you can get it.(he´s weak in rain curcumstances)
Here in the german forum we´re discuss if there´s a minimum about 5000km.(with heidenau k66) In my opinion, threre should be a minimum of 10000km with that kind of weak bike.
If in the UK the old imperial units like 2.5*17 or 2,75*17 units are no problem with in the tire dimensions, there is much more to choose from.......
me too, I have no idea, which tire to choose for next saison....
So, take what ever you want...
BUT; LET US Know what you have taken..... (and also your experiences)....

The tirecompound meeds at least 1 Year (DOT-date) to stabilize and develop its maximum designed behaviour. After 6, 7 or 8 years the compound loses dramatically its behaviour, it gets hard and harder and loses grip. If it is used driven or only stored makes almost no difference.
Good luck with your new tires.
Regards, Peter,
I still drive with the original Dunlop tyre, and have not had severe problems in rain.
I mostly just drive for fun in my spare time, so I tend to choose not to drive in rain. But I have tried it a couple of times, and just takes it more easy when cornering and in roundabouts(?).
