I have a stripped engine on my workbench waiting to be completed. All bearings were worn, the piston had been melted, cylinder with scratches inside and the bottom end was deep-blue to black colored. The young man, from whom i bought my "spare part wave" did never check the oil level after the first service. It was a bargain.
My engine is nowhere that bad but does need some care and attention.
